HIGH
Detailed explanation — one rule at a time
Rule 1 LED Strip → Power Supply HIGH confidence
If the order contains
Any LED strip product:
ILAR-00620 ProStrip 24V monochrome 5m
ILAR-00638 ProStrip 24V RGB 5m
ILAR-01404 COB PRO strip
System suggests
One power supply from the list below — the right one for the total load. The four options cover different wattage ranges; the system picks the smallest that covers the job.
ILAR-00903 60W power supply
ILAR-00904 100W power supply
ILAR-00906 150W power supply
ILAR-02074 250W power supply (DALI projects)
Why a power supply is always needed
LED strips run on 24V DC current. Standard wall power is 220V AC. A power supply converts 220V AC into 24V DC. Without it, the strip physically cannot turn on — it is an electrical law, not a guideline.
How the sizing formula works

To pick the right power supply, the system needs to know the total wattage of all strips in the order. The steps:

  1. Count all strip rolls in the order (e.g. 30 rolls of ILAR-00620)
  2. Look up watts per meter for that strip SKU (e.g. ProStrip 24V = 14.4W/m)
  3. Multiply: 30 rolls × 5m × 14.4W/m = 2,160W total
  4. Add 20% safety buffer: 2,160 × 1.20 = 2,592W
  5. Suggest the smallest power supply that covers 2,592W
What's blocking this in v1
Step 2 — watts per meter — is not stored in Odoo. It lives in product datasheets, not in any catalog field. Ricardo needs to provide W/m values for each strip SKU (or confirm where they live in Odoo) before this formula can be coded. Until then, v1 will surface this as a reviewer suggestion ("this order likely needs a power supply") rather than an automatic calculation.
Order evidence
No order shows a strip + power supply in the same transaction. Wholesale buyers stock power supplies independently. The rule is confirmed by electrical engineering, not order data.
Rule 2 LED Strip → Aluminium Profile (channel) MEDIUM confidence
If the order contains
ILAR-00620 ILAR-00638 ILAR-01404
Any LED strip (same three as Rule 1)
System suggests
ILAR-00469
Aluminium Profile 2M Opal — the extrusion channel that houses and diffuses the strip
Qty ratio
2.5 profiles per strip roll. Each roll is 5m. Each profile is 2m. So 5m of strip needs 2.5 × 2m profiles = 5m of channel. Confirmed by SMARTEC order: 30 rolls (150m) + 75 profiles (150m) — exact coverage.
Why
The aluminium profile is the channel that the strip sits inside. It protects the strip from damage and diffuses the light so you see even illumination rather than individual LED dots. For visible architectural installations (retail, hospitality, residential), strip is never left bare.
When it applies
Visible architectural installs only. Not needed for industrial or concealed strip runs (e.g. under furniture, inside machinery).
Order evidence
OR 2026/12738 OR 2026/12765
Rule 3 LED Strip → Connector MEDIUM confidence
If the order contains
ILAR-00638
RGB strip or any IP67-rated strip
System suggests (pick the right one)
ILAR-00641 RGB 4-pin connector with cable
ILAR-03314 Connector 8mm monochrome
ILAR-03322 Connector 10mm monochrome
ILAR-01118 IP68 waterproof connector (for IP67 strip)
Why
When a strip installation spans multiple segments or turns a corner, connectors join the strip sections together without soldering. The connector must match the strip exactly — wrong width or wrong IP rating means it won't fit or won't be waterproof.
Qty ratio
~2 connectors per roll (observed average)
Order evidence
OR 2026/12765
Rule 4 Emergency Unit → Luminaire (compliance flag) HIGH confidence
If the order contains
Any emergency lighting unit — the entire ILEM- product family
System flags
The reviewer is alerted that emergency units should accompany a main luminaire installation — and vice versa for large commercial projects.
Ratio
Roughly 1 emergency unit per 5–6 regular luminaires (average observed across orders with both)
Why
Portuguese and Spanish building codes require emergency lighting in all commercial spaces (hospitals, offices, schools, public areas). Emergency units are almost never sold as a standalone installation — they always accompany a main lighting project. The 54% of emergency orders without luminaires in our dataset are retrofit jobs into existing non-Aronlight installations.

OR 2026/12811 OR 2026/12717
Rule 5 Panel 300×1200mm → Recessed Bezel Frame HIGH confidence
If the order contains
ILAR-02979
40W Panel 300×1200mm Backlit
System suggests
ILAR-00508
Aro para Encastrar 300×1200mm — the recessed bezel frame
Why
The Aro is the frame that sits around the panel when it is recessed into the ceiling. Without it, the panel sits surface-mounted with exposed cut edges showing. For a flush, finished ceiling look, the Aro is mandatory. It is also size-specific — 300×1200mm only fits 300×1200mm panels.
Qty ratio
Exactly 1:1
Order evidence
OR 2026/12824
38 panels + 38 Aros — exact match
Rule 6 Thane Pendant Panel → Thane Suspension Kit HIGH confidence
If the order contains
ILAR-00711
Painel Série Thane 35W D500mm — a circular pendant ceiling light
System suggests
ILAR-00713
Kit Suspensão Thane — the suspension cable and ceiling canopy
Why
The Thane is designed to hang from the ceiling — it is a pendant light. The suspension kit contains the cable and the ceiling canopy (the part that hides the cable entry into the ceiling). The product is physically unusable without it: there is nothing to hang it with.

Rule 7 GU10 Lamp → GU10 Trim Ring (Aro) MEDIUM confidence
If the order contains
ILAR-00321 ILAR-00322 ILAR-00324 ILAR-00550
GU10 lamps intended for recessed ceiling installation
System suggests
ILAR-00115 Aro GU10 Fixo — fixed angle trim ring
ILAR-00192 Aro GU10 Oscilante — adjustable angle trim ring
Why
A bare GU10 bulb installed into a recessed ceiling hole leaves the hole edge exposed and unfinished. The trim ring (Aro) sits around the bulb and covers the hole edge for a clean, finished look. Not needed for track spotlights or surface-mounted fittings — only for recessed ceiling holes.
Qty ratio + Order evidence
1:1  ·  OR 2026/12774
Rule 8 DALI Luminaire → DALI Driver HIGH confidence
If the order contains
ILAR-01909
24W Backlit High Lumen UGR<19 3CCT — a DALI-capable luminaire
System suggests
ILAR-00925 Driver 25W DALI+PUSH+0-10V
ILAR-02717 Driver Dimável DALI+Push 30W
Why
DALI (Digital Addressable Lighting Interface) is a lighting control protocol that lets a building management system dim lights, set scenes, and read status. A DALI luminaire needs a DALI-compatible driver to receive those commands over the control bus. A standard driver cannot receive DALI signals — it will simply ignore them and the control system won't work.
Qty ratio + Order evidence
1:1 — one driver per luminaire  ·  OR 2026/12734
15 DALI luminaires + 15 DALI drivers — exact match
Rule 9 Panel 300×600mm → Surface Mount Bracket MEDIUM confidence
If the order contains
ILAR-01774
22W Panel 300×600mm — for surface installation (not recessed)
System suggests
ILDV-00032
Suporte de Superfície 300×600mm — surface mount bracket
Why
Panels designed to drop into a suspended ceiling grid need a bracket when installed on a solid ceiling instead. The bracket holds the panel flat against the solid ceiling surface. It is size-specific — the 300×600mm bracket only physically fits 300×600mm panels.
Qty ratio + Order evidence
~1 per 2 panels (needs Ricardo confirmation)  ·  OR 2026/12754
Rule 10 Meller Downlight Body → Meller Trim Ring (Espelho) HIGH confidence
If the order contains
ILAR-01050 3W Meller D85 — the recessed downlight body
ILAR-01230 2W Meller Sensor — downlight body with sensor
System suggests
ILAR-01164 Espelho Meller D85 Redondo Preto — black trim ring
ILAR-01232 Espelho Meller Sensor 86×86mm Branco — white trim ring
Why
The Meller downlight is sold as two separate SKUs by design. The body is the light source — it sits recessed inside the ceiling cavity and is completely hidden once installed. The trim ring (Espelho, literally "mirror" in Portuguese) is the visible face plate the customer actually sees from the room. Aronlight sells them separately so customers can choose the finish (black or white) independently of the light source. You always need both — the body without the trim ring is invisible but unfinished; the trim ring without the body has nothing to light.
Qty ratio + Order evidence
1:1  ·  OR 2026/12818
2 Meller D85 bodies + 2 trim rings and 1 Meller Sensor + 1 trim ring in the same order
